[DeTomaso] Bay Area Guys!: Tubing bender for water pipes 1-3/8" ?????

Steve,

Since it appears to be defective it is not YOUR responsibility to fix it!!!!

Normally these things exit the block and turn to run just about parallel to the valve cover. If yours isn't doing that, see about exchanging it. 

There was once a bad batch of headers that looked fine to the naked eye, but if installed the collector would be in the middle of the chassis rail. Stuff happens.....
