OK, youse Bay area guys........I need to find someone with a 1-3/8" set of dies for a tubing bender.....hopefully the person with the dies has the tubing bender also!!!  I've called all the shops I know of or that are still in biz......everyone starts at 1-1/2" dies and goes up.....roll bars etc.

I have a new stainless thermostat housing pipe which looks like it should work just fine.   Well, that's a matter of opinion.....  It apparently is not an exact copy of the original.   It fits on the engine just fine, but the outlet where it connects to the pressure tank is pointing off into another dimension.  If I installed enough rubber hose, it would work......problem is that it would be crooked.....and I'm not into crooked.....then the pressure tank needs to be crooked, and the connection to the lower pipe is crooked......and so on and so on......

SO, I seek a shop with the ability to tweek this sucker just a little bit at the 90 bend. I need it to be about an 88 or 89 degree bend so that it parallels the valve cover instead of heading off for the sail panel!

I can't rotate it on the two mounting bolts as it is already up against the dipstick tube.
Next choice, is notch it and weld it up again......not my preference either....but may need to go this way.......
Lemmeno!!!!

Thanks!
Steve
