I disagree with that. Over the years there have been tests done concerning the airflow of those air filters
and proven that wrong. I’ve have to dig thru my archives to find the testing.

correctly, the dogbone was put on a dyno some years back and actually
proved itself to be one of the better air filters in use on our
Panteras. Mine works great on my stock 73L with Larry's QuickFuel 650
DP. I love the funky thing. People are always saying this about the
dogbone-- maybe to some folks it just looks too weird to efficiently
flow air. _ _
