[DeTomaso] Reasonable price to re-chrome door lock cylinder housing and door handle?

 I got a local price of $40 to re-chrome all 4 pieces in Southern California.  Is that reasonable or should I shop around?
Is a three step (copper, nickel, chrome) the standard?
