    Last weekend near Pahrump, NV the
 Swedish auto manufacturer Koeingsegg
    set a new land speed
    record for a production car at
 near 280 mph.  They did this on a closed
    section of Nevada Highway 160.
    Here is a link to that attempt
 and video to show the complete runs from
    inside the car.
 
 
    Pretty impressive to see a
 shift to higher gear at about 220 mph!
    Sound up and enjoy.
