[DeTomaso] Techno question: stock wheel studs

See attached photo.

Just as Joe’s drawing shows, there is a flat side to the stud shoulder.

Note it is facing the outside at all five locations. That is because it only fits in that position.

Note it is in a recessed area, surrounded by a circular ridge.

Should the bolt become loose, it will only rotate to where the flat edge transitions to the fully rounded stud shoulder,
at which point it will contact the circular ridge and cease rotating.
