[DeTomaso] SS ZF linkage turnbuckle???

That makes more sense, I thought something was wrong, guess it was just my
reading, but you still have to spline it and to do that you still need a
broach. Still not east by any means but a lot simpler than to make a U
Joint. The ends are solid, machined then Broached, then they can be welded
and ground to both ends of the Adjusting rod. Might be just as easy to
drill and tap the solid rod than to use a tube and cut out the welding and
grinding phase. Whats a few extra ounces of steel amongst friends.
