I did a google (Pantera found in lake,portland), and this was one of the hits.
I had to click on it because of the wording, "...not that it's earth-shattering important, but...."
Surely it had to be important to Mr. DeadMan - but uh, maybe not!
Plus, I added this thread to the national POCA list - maybe someone lives in the area. --BILL L

About all my friend there knew was what he was told. the park rangers found it about 2 weeks ago, got a towing company to come get it and now it is going to be auctioned off by the towing company. It was found in a lake where it apparently was driven into and as my friends, friend stated was probably there for 22 years. How they know that, he could not say. I guess it will be advertised in the Portland Or paper at some time soon. Looking for a deal on one that has been "stored, under cover, not driven" for the past 22yr?

A friend in the Portland Org told me of a Pantera found in the National Forest there that is going to be auctioned off by a towing company. His father showed him a picture of it. It is silver with Black strips across the hood and top. Somehow they knew it had been missing for 22 years and apparently spent those 22 years in the forest where they found it.
Just curious if anyone has been missing their car since back then?
