[DeTomaso] Stud interferes with reverse?,

The stud in question is not a blind hole. In fact, if the gearbox ever gets
stuck in reverse and 1st at the same time (it can happen), removing the stud
and smacking the reverse gear out of engagement is possible through that
stud hole...

I am curious to hear what someone that has been inside the gear box has to
say. Just my thoughts, I would expect the studs to be blind and have no
exposed threads internal.

Questions like this makes me wish I hit "Buy Now" on that box the other day
