[DeTomaso] Strange, Fun memorabilia

Hi guys,

I was recently visited by Chris and Sue Beck, who live in Basel, Switzerland and have a beautiful '72 Euro GTS, and the blue/white stripe Vallelunga. They live near noted De Tomaso memorabilia collector Marcel Schaub, and they brought me a small present they got from him:

Look closely--it's a cancelled personal check dated Jan 3, 1968 from Alejandro De Tomaso!

It was apparently sent fro his US account while he was in the USA; the address on the account is Red Bank, NJ, home of the Haskell clan. I can't quite make out who it is made out to, although it appears to be to a business in London. The cancellation marks indicate it was run through a Lloyds of London account (overseas division).

A lot of work for a $2 payment!
