[DeTomaso] Salvage title GT5

The rear decklid has a pretty poor fit, right side shut line is horrendous and the left rear edge overhangs the rear panel. A lot depends whether it's a decklid issue (relatively easy fix) or the chassis is twisted ($$$$$).


Generally BHCC don't have (or are unwilling) to provide a lot of information, the big question is how/why did it come by a salvage title?


I searched for red cars with rear wing in the registry and there were no hits that visually match this car with a GT5 body kit. The receipts in the photos are a ship to Allentown, PA and similarly no hits on red cars in PA that visually match. It would be good to get a VIN# to check against.

Just curious, does anybody know anything about this car? I checked the
registry but couldn't find a fake GT5 category.
FYI I get notification emails from Beverly Hills car club and it listed the
current price as $49,500.
