I don't think that more than one body was made, and I suppose that the mirror could have been glued on. 

The molds were abandoned in the factory for a few years - I suppose it is possible that some enterprising individual removed the molds and made more, with the intention of making some $$. Sounds rather unlikely, considering the market size, but not impossible

Reproducing the rims might be another challenge...

I would argue its not the exact same car shown in the unveiling.  Note the absence of side-view mirrors on the doors, and how the original had them and appeared to be mechanically hinged at the front.  The recent photos don't show any provisions for a mechanical connection of mirrors.  The parting lines between some panels look tight in the modern photos versus more space on the unveiled version.  It also appears a corner light was installed (passenger side front)  but the modern photo shows a solid piece of bodywork.

Was there more than one of the bodies made?  I'm probably just being too critical.
