[DeTomaso] Can door and trunk locks be re-keyed, anyone successful with the ignition without removing the lock from the housing??

Seven years ago we took my Mangustas door cylinder to be rekeyed and before worker was back to work, the locksmith called and said it was ready, about ten minutes and about $18.00.
Then when the two factory original keys were found inside the left brake lens reflector while detailing for 2015 EyesOnDesign, we took same lock back to be converted back to original.
Again, just a few minutes.
