Yes I have opened up the gap on the plugs since first running it
Maybe that is why the ball stays in place now.. never thought of that

Bob, Amaizing that 1362 was skipping bad and I found the ball destroyed. I figured I had found the problem.  I replaced the cap and it did not fix the skip, turned out after I replaced plugs and gapped at .048-.050 It was right. The MSD likes the big gap and it will run fine witout the ball!  Bill
