I have actually blown up the carbon ball on my
MSD cap several times ( I do run an off Road MSD
Coil) so a lot of power.. it still ran fine.. only found out
when checking on things.... after doing this several times
it finally put enough crud inside the cap it quit.. put a new
pickup on it and it is fine now.. I have not blown up a cap
ball recently.. maybe driving too easy at 7500 rpm :)
