Subject: [DeTomaso] PORTERFIELD AP63 R4S Users: Info needed?!
Hey!
Just received a new set of AP63 pads and was dinking around with the
calpers checking some fitment....and found that the new pads are not
drilled to accept the guide pin?!!? Without the pin, it would, to
me, appear that the pad would be able to walk up/down...in/out about
1/4 inch, putting them off center of the pistons....which doesn't seem
like a good way to operate a caliper.....
Can any Porterfield users comment? I have pinged Porterfield
also...... Just trying to figure out if I need to toss these back in
the mail.......
Always something.....then you find something else....!
Cheers! Have a great holiday weekend!!!
Steve
