[DeTomaso] NPC Best spyware?

Hi Ken,
I use  Malwarebytes  https://www.malwarebytes.com/  and have been very happy with it.   You can download a free version at the link and try it to see if you like it.
The free version does not do real time protection .... so if you like it, upgrade to the paid version (I think it is $39 annually).  I use this in conjunction with AVG Antivirus.
Just go to AVG.com and download a free trial version of that too if you like.  
I have no affiliation with either of these companies ...... just over 2 years of satisfied experience .
