Backing up a little, how did you finally get the old one out ? Or did I miss that.......

Just need a refresh on torque specs for the pressure plate. I think it's 35
lbs., but don't recall. I know the fly is 80 lbs.
Test fitting the new pilot after struggles removing the old indicate this
one will be every bit as tight a fit. While not planning to remove it any
time soon, is there anything I ought/could do to reduce it's resistance in
the future?
