[DeTomaso] Cold air intake pickup locations

Rob,

In fact the 1973-73 Panteras came from the factory with a fresh air induction system. They used a snorkel setup mounted to the passenger side firewall and drawing air up from the ground. So your idea has precedent, at least. Check out the diagram in the parts book....
