I’m with Mark on this build. Not too optimistic the results will meet with widespread Family acceptance.

Unless some serious additional panel work is coming, the extended, squared-off rockers will clash with the original car lines. Too angular and too busy. No flow.

Hard to tell what is going on with the cardboard mock-up on the front end. Again, appears too angular … and just plain ugly.

The new B-pillar cut-out for door opening is, again, too angular for the body lines.

Now, on the plus side.

He seems to be avoiding messing with the haunches….side gills….1/4 window.

Shaving the side markers, IMHO, returns the car to what Tom likely initially drew. Would he have included them unless legally required? Doubtful.

Shaving the unique-to-DeTomaso door handles is (okay?), converting to pushbutton ala Chip is okay, but adding the above-mentioned B-pillar cut-out, not okay.

In the radio interview, he says he really liked the Ring Brother’s/Nike Pantera build.

That may be a clue to what the result of his build will be……...
