I believe the car was transported to the track by George Stauffer. Unfortunately, the picture that I have of the car, I just took with my cell phone from an old VCR tape while playing on my TV. While the pic quality while playing the tape on the TV is pretty good, snapping a pic doesn't work so well. However, perhaps it is good enough for someone to recognize the Pantera or the driver standing on the rollback. Where is this car today? It was the first Pantera that I had seen with 180 degree exhaust.

John,
This is John Storey's first race Pantera - built, as I recall, from an ex-Guldstrand race chassis. John used this as a "development" car over several years before he decided to build a full race Pantera to run in the professional IMSA GTO series. I saw it run at Riverside in the mid 80's. It was sold to a Jerry Narlock (sp?) who took it racing in Dallas and other vintage events. The last version of the exhaust I saw was an 8 into 1. It sounded like an F1 car!
