Here is a pic of the Laguna Seca Track.
The lower edge middle is the famous "cork screw". To the right of the lake is the pit area and the start/finish line. The first turn is up the hill and under the first bridge to turn one a very slight lefty. As you clear the first bridge point the car at the telephone pole just off track. It will take you into the first turn and set up for the turn two hairpin. It is a double apex turn. A short jaunt takes you to a 90 degree left for turn three. Under the Dunlap bridge is another 90 degree left. It opens to a full throttle long straight to turn five for the hill climb. Six continues the climb to seven. Stay way right for seven but look left for the tall oak tree. When you see it make a sharp left because you can not see the roadway as it falls from under your car. A Quick right takes you to a left nine then veer to left to take ten. Hit the brakes hard for the left 11 and then up the hill to the start/finish line.
Oh the memories... My Pantera will be on this track in June. Will Yours?
Please sign up for the POCA Fun Rally and enjoy the ride. Or, watch your buddies run this world famous track.
Oh the guy that crashed a 300SL Gullwing in the Historics was Stirling Moss. They named the hairpin (turn 2) in his honor.
