We are running the Goodrich T/A's - they work as long as you are not pushing
the car well past what it was originally designed for - at least that is my
theory.

Love 15 in. rims too but what are you using for tires?

I'm surprised you want to go back to the stock bushings - I love the offset
poly ones. But then, I am running 15 inch rims, so the tire sidewalls
really help in softening the impact of rough roads... Same thing on our XKE
- gads, it is like a magic carpet, even with the poly bushings - yay for 15
inch rims!

How much work is widening the upper A arm? I'd like to go back to stock
suspension bushings, but that would require ditching the offset poly
bushings I have upfront and loosing that additional angle.

Well it is pretty critical to stay with 0.1" maximum to avoid breakthrough
into the ball joint as they are all a little different. It should provide
just over 0.5 degree extra caster.

Personally I modify the a-arms, widening them at the ball joint mounting by
3/4", which then allows infinite adjustment with spacers up to about 7.5
degrees. The wide body cars like 7 degrees, 5 is good for a narrow body.

(Sorry Julian)

I have not heard that was doable. I casually looked at one and my gut
feeling was it couldn't be done.

Good to know!

How much angle would 0.1" give?

Larry Stock has a a well equipped shop and has them already milled to ship
out to you, zero setup costs!

My understanding is that 0.1 inches can be trimmed off one side to increase
caster? Seems like most the work would be setting up the milling machine?
Maybe find a shop to get a bunch done, and share the setup cost?
Ken
