Very True statement. I buy everything on eBay! EVERY thing. Even my last 2 cars.
I pay close attention to who I am dealing with and with larger items, I contact them.
I rarely have a problem, but the few times I did, the vendor or eBay refunded my money!
I’ve sold many things on eBay also, and I can tell you, reputation is important if you want to
continue. Which is why good vendors will try very hard to settle any problems, before getting
negative feedback. If you think you see a scam, eBay will pursue it. I’ve forced things to be
taken off eBay. You have to produce convincing evidence of the problem, but they act quickly.
Just my experience. Your mileage may vary.

People talk all the time about how they have been scammed on eBay, and I
know it happens. But I personally believe that if you pay attention to the
seller ratings and look at the seller history you can avoid 99% of these
problems.....
