If you can hear poly bushings squeek, you're going too slow or your mufflers are too restrictive!

One of the best modifications I made was separating, straightening and
re-welding the upper front a-arms to accommodate more caster.
Admittedly I have wide body that is even more notorious fro tram
lining, but the a-arm mod widens the a-arm section that holds the ball
joint by 3/4" allowing any caster setting with shims up to 7.5 degrees.

Surprisingly one thing that impacted tram lining far more than I had
expected was a new set of tires, the set on the car when I purchased it
were the older style chevron pattern Michelin Pilot Sports, the newer
style are significantly better. Another step up was a slightly larger
steering wheel, It hink the old one was 12" dia.

A couple of years ago I replaced the front rubber bushings with Marinos
offset poly bushings in an attempt at improve tramlining. Not much
improvement, but no squeaking and I have not lubricated them since
installation.
