Bud,

I always use the hot water trick, but also spray the tube end with old
faction hair spray. It will lub the tube, to allow the hose to slide on
easy, then dry sticky to help seal it.

The ID of these hoses are 1 5/16" not 1 3/8" ........ I understand soaking
in hot water allows them to be put over the 1 3/8" coolant tubes. What is
the tricks for doing this? Do you use something to form them over prior to
installing on car?

  I need Napa or similar coolant hose number for Pantera under floor tube
  to the surge tank. Fits just under crank pulley area .......... need a
  hose within an hour or so....
