Like our friends here (called the IRS) they will likely go after the big guys first.  There is 
more revenue to be made there.  Unfortunately, every App and many websites ask for your 
contact information, and your cell phone is the worst. Also, cell phone providers (last I knew)
were trying to get the privacy laws changed so they can sell your cell phone information and
usage to marketing firms.  Google is, by far, the worst offender. They have more information 
on you than the Gov. ever could.  And they get it for free. Do you use Google search, gmail, etc.
Free Free Free. There are 8000-10000 Google searches (Docker Containers) launched every 
SECOND of every day.  24/7.  Data Analytics has changed the world.  Witness our last election.

Security is a big issue. You can be tracked down to the last time you used your cell phone, browser,
Email or credit card. To name just a few. You have no privacy.  For $9 you can find where anyone is 
within a 10 minute widow. Marketing data storage has all that information and more.

It’s a different connected world today. I’m both amazed and scared. (time to build that cabin?)

    The EU is pushing for privacy laws that have teeth.  It is called EU GDPR.
     Almost every US state has privacy laws, but they are difficult to
    enforce, and the fines are not significant.

    The difference with EU GDPR is the size of the fines.  FB, Linked In, etc.
    could be fined up to $40 million dollars for failure to comply with the
    regulation.  All you have to do is send them something and ask to be
    ³forgotten².

    The last I heard, the EU is hiring 4,500 regulators to enforce EU GDPR.
    Whether the EU is successful with EU GDPR remains to be seen.
