[DeTomaso] NPC - Mid-engine C8 Vette to be a Holden?

Don't hold you breath. Mid-engine Corvettes "on the way" date back to 1970 when GM threw one together from a parts bin to take steam out of Ford/DeTomaso's presentation of a real car in April 1970 at the New York Auto Show. Didn't work. That was (I think) the first vapor-car GM showed with a midengine design and this is yet another in a very long line. The closest GM ever got to production was the midengine V6 Fiero and that one was killed as they finished updating it to a decent street machine (1988).
