[DeTomaso] Steering wheel shimmy

Ditto Asa's suggestions.  Our cars need frequent *thorough* front end
inspections.  Great performance mandates great responsibility :)

Also check for bubbles in the sidewalls and tread and tire date codes.
I just had a truck tire go out of round on me and another explode on
the way to the tire store. I thought "I just bought those tires" ...

Yes.  I just bought those tires in 2007.  10 years is a pretty good lifespan.
