Dear Forum,

             After almost two years on the engine project, I am about
ready for the Pantera's tires to touch the ground again. IIRC, the
proper tension on the engine brace bar(s) is done by loosening the brace
bar and then lowering the Pantera onto the ground. Then with the
suspension loaded, the brace bar(s) are tightened down. The brace
bar(s) with the central adjusting tension nut are made gently snug.
Then you're done.

            Is that correct?

                 Just checking,  Chuck Engles

PS: Bar(s) means exactly the big square steel brace with the central
adjusting nut plus an accessory smaller brace mounted lower and behind
the normal brace, just over the top of the ZF.  {full disclosure}
