Agreed - my new membership to the Pantera Family is an awakening -- there
is a lot information readily available, a lot of people willing to share
it, and many willing to go the extra mile. Thanks to Mike, Denny and Asa
Jay for helping.
Update on our first race weekend: We had three flawless sessions
mechanically, and at the end of the fourth session the brake booster failed
at the end of the straightaway. That was actually the most exciting moment
of the weekend. We spent most of the weekend doing things required to get
the SCCA Vintage/ITE logbook. Now that the car is SCCA legal, we will be
doing more races up here in Portland.
For those interested: We are running strictly in accordance with the 1973
FIA Grp 3 specs - no bodywork or aero changes, original brakes, etc. So,
we are not running any of the 1974 or later updates allowed for FIA Grp 3.
I would be very appreciative if those that have raced the Pantera can
provide their personal list of the "Top 10" spares to take to the race
track (besides, of course, 10 spare cars).
Regards,
Steven G. Lisa, Esq.

This community is great, and we sincerely appreciate the friendships
we've had over the decades we've been part of it.
