Thanks, Charlie for the link. I too read it end to end. Reminds me that, in my long life I once had an opportunity to buy a '69 Ghibli coupe... upholstered in black patent leather that had been so completely Armour-Alled, the windows & interior was fogged with the stuff, it needed professional degreasing inside. Plus it had the optional automatic tranny. Will not speculate on what sort of owner would own such a car. 

The next day, I decided (with liberal assistence from Judy) that I really didn't need another project (we'd already bought the Pantera the year before). Nevertheless, entertaining.

Don't know if you need to be subscribed to see the pictures, but I know
that a few Forum members are subscribed to Pistonheads (it's free).
It's the (unfinished) story of the home restoration of a Ghibli that
was known to be rusty when purchased, but perhaps not as bad as found.


Hint - the story begins in 2003... Looks like really nice work
