Agreed, that is exactly why I asked! I'm not sure why one would choose the proportioning valve over a balance bar and easy in cab adjustment although I see in Scott's case it is a dual prop valve and brake light switch hence the reason both master are plumbed through it. I guess if it was chosen for that latter task primarily one could leave the proportioning valve open or lose the balance bar?

I would think in a properly designed system where you choose your master cylinder diameters, you wouldn't want or need a prop valve if you had a balance bar?
