[DeTomaso] Seat Slide Rattles

That is exactly my experience. I gobbed a lot of heavy grease on the rollers and it seems to work. Someone else wrote an article about using some small springs to side load the rollers that seemed to work also. I do not recall who it was or where it was published however.

Paul,

The issue isn't just about moving the seat. The brass rollers apparently rattle constantly even when the seat isn't being moved. Step on the gas, CLACK. Step on the brake, CLACK. 

I confess I have no first hand experience, but that is what some people who have these things have said in the past....
