Thanks for that, I had no idea there were so many formulas

The Mobil 1 Racing has the highest ZDDP at 1750 as it does not have to comply with the mandated specs for street use.

The other weights of Mobil 1 have varying amounts of ZDDP, it looks like the 0-40W FS has 1,000 ppm which I think is the upper limit allowable for the SF rating compliance. Here's the 2016 specs of the various Mobil 1 offerings;

With your new rebuild you'll ideally want to use a good break in oil initially to get the rings seated etc.

So , is synthetic compatible with our Cleveland engines, say 0-40 ? My engine is currently being upgraded and I am hoping to use Mobil One

   The Mobil 1 Racing has the highest ZDDP at 1750 as it does not have to

   The other weights of Mobil 1 have varying amounts of ZDDP, it looks
   like the 0-40W FS has 1,000 ppm which I think is the upper limit
   allowable for the SF rating compliance. Here's the 2016 specs of the
   various Mobil 1 offerings;

   With your new rebuild you'll ideally want to use a good break in oil
   initially to get the rings seated etc.
