[DeTomaso] Pantera on Fast & Loud

Hi Ron,

I don't know when the car was purchased but I know the build happened in March of 2016. Given that these shows take time to put together, I would guess they had the car well before the build started. Good observation!

Something that I found interesting is that while I was watching a re-run of what my DVR says is Episode 6/Season 6( which is the first part of the
Ford GT build) and sure enough, the exact same white '72 Pantera in in the background in several of the shots. The show made it
seem like they bought the car and started the build a few weeks later. The Ford GT episode aired nearly a year ago so who knows when that build
was filmed much less how long ago the Pantera was bought. That could explain the low purchase price.

During the design stage, air flow to the engine was considered.

I read there was a concern about having an air exit similar to the Mangusta
because it would “frost over” and block flow

Since there is no real air flow around where they placed the After Cooler,
Maybe the air scoop is to create air flow to the after cooler and NOT the
engine, I would simply use electric fans for this, but they ARE the Texas TV
Experts, and I guess that¹s the way its done in Texas. Maybe our Pantera
Boys in Texas need to give them some help here. Since they also eliminated
the trunk storage area, they must not see the need get out much.
