Julian, remember our friend Simon Velsmin holland was in negotiations to buy the Foose Pantera (a direct copy of the Alfa Romeo Carabo show car) when it got snatched out from under him by Richard Rawlings. That was last year sometime. 

He shamellely stole that white Pantera from the widow in San Diego. It was worth double what he paid her for it. Too bad she wasn't connected in any way with the San Diego club; they would have looked out former and protected her from getting ripped off.

Sigh.....

I looked up Barret Jackson east coast and their inaugural east coast
auction was June 2016, so I guess it was filmed fairly recent, that
said I'm surprised at the $28,500 price paid.
