Please post when you have any success. I have a similar problem. I cannot work on my Pantera
right now, but when I do (next week?) I'm keeping a checklist from you guys. Thanks so much.

Mike,
I don't know if it affects pressure readings to the point of pegging the
gauge, but have you checked the PCV valve for proper operation?
It could be other things more likely to fail but it is a simple fix if it
is.
