[DeTomaso] Cleveland Rolling engine stand

Mike,
I'm nearly positive that Stumpy probably has a Pantera owner near him
and could probably source one for a week or so to mate with a 351C block
to make the appropriate measurements. I'm guessing he probably fabs
many of these when they are ordered, so I wouldn't put it past him to be
willing to do this for the Pantera folks.

All it takes is contacting him and seeing if he'd do it.

For what it's worth, I used his standard set for my fully assembled
engine and then attached the ZF to it and had no problems.

This photo shows the new engine on the stands

This photo shows the old engine and ZF after they came out of the
Pantera. This was taken prior to the one above. You can see, if you
zoom the photo, that the hoist is not holding up the assembly, and the
tail of the ZF is not on he ground. Yes, the ZF was suspended in the
air by nothing more than bolting to the engine, but the entire assembly
did -not- tip over as some might expect.

Still, having the extra length and support for the ZF would be
preferred. Who would like to contact Stumpy?

Asa Jay
