Mark,
Yes I saw the PI thread, from your earlier response to Ken you said you had CF decklid and hood, then in response to my question of where your parts came from you posted a link to JPC? So who's decklid and hood do you have? Are they true CF?
Julian

Julian,
I have not had any dealings with the company mentioned. subject was brought up on the PI forum by GT4Peter. Here is a link to the discussion.

I have been looking for a source for CF doors for some time. If I can't find them, I'll make my own. Just don't have a autoclave handy. For my purposes I don't need a perfect door for track use. If the door came in two pieces (skin & frame) I could make fitting adjustments much easier.

Mark,
Apologies, I thought from your response your parts were other than JPC. Was your experience different than Roland's? He said the parts didn't fit well.
JPC are no longer manufacturing these parts, but a guy in Germany is looking to pick up the molds and produce them, but if the molds are out that's just recreating the same problems.

Noting Roland' post, it seems like a light weight hood and rear deck would come first and be less dependent on exact fit? I'd worry about all the window parts that bolt inside the door, and the door locks. Would they use a bolt on metal window frame?
I have a 20 pound rear deck which seems like the first part to save weight, high and in the rear.
