[DeTomaso] Oil drain plug seal

I fought the dripping oil on pan plugs for years......no washer works on all.....I use a bead of rtv sealant under the head and on to the first few threads.. Works better for me, even on old old cars. Bud #3400 ( Drive it like there is no tomorrow -- for there may not be ! )

Was it a new copper washer? I once had to re-use a washer and had a
tad of
drippage until I could get a new one. You definitely don't want to
crank
the plug down too hard.
