Greetings POCA Members,
The Detomaso 911 Directory for POCA members may be of use while traveling
in case of an emergency situation, either medical or mechanical. It will
be available both in digital and printable form in both map and table
form. The map form allows toggles between terrain/road map, colors, and
density sizing. Zoom out to see the entire U.S. or zoom in to find a
particular street. 911 caregivers are only represented by the middle of
their zip code, not their actual address. Once the US is done, I would
consider other countries, if the need is there.
Here's the catch, if you want to use it, you also need to be willing to be
listed. Quid Pro Quo. You can't get help unless you're willing to offer
help.
Let's say that you are traveling down I-95, the PCH, or even going cross
country on I-40 and your rear tire shreds. While AAA might be your first
instinct, do you really think anybody is going to have a 335-35-17 P-Zero
handy at 5 pm on a Friday afternoon or even know where to find one? Whip
out your Smartphone or reach into your glove box and pull out the DeTomaso
911 Directory which you have smartly printed out just in case. It's going
to have those members listed nearest your current location who have agreed
to help a fellow POCA member out in an emergency situation.
No form is needed. Simply reply to this email filling in the requested
information. Please do not format the form differently, as it will make it
more difficult to load. A return email is consent to publish this
information to POCA members only. Everybody that signs up for this is also
bound to respect other's privacy and not share this information outside of
this consensual group.
I hope that you never need to call another member because of a breakdown,
