[DeTomaso] Coolant hoses source ?

Joe, those shrink-set clamps apparently work if you can get your heat gun 360 degree access, but they are -A- expensive and -B- one-time-use only. They must be cut apart to remove. Even as a retired sailor I'm surprised at the language I hear from people at Pick & Pull while trying to remove some part with them on it....Hard to beat the stainless worm-drive aircraft clamps.
Cheers- J Deryke

I went down to NAPA and bought two 3 or 4 foot sections of great quality hoses. I could tell you the exact part number when I get home if you need it. This past weekend, I was chopping it into small enough sizes to allow me to double-clamp each side. I ran out of clamps and need 20 more to complete it. A quick mental count says I needed 58 clamps in all for the size under the car, 2 for a size bigger at the water pump, 4 for the heater hose connection between the overflow and swirl tanks, and one for the overflow smaller line. That did not include the heater hoses and heater shutoff valves.
That's a lot of clamps, but I will never be stranded for lack of them :)
