Thanks All.

This has no doubt be a labor of love…

Feel free to contact me anytime and I would be glad to help.

At this point there are a few details that we are not sharing,

we have some features that have not been seen or used on an automotive block.

One hint…

Eck Industries is the foundry that is casting our aluminum block.

Eck Industries is also the foundry that made the engine block that was in the mid 2000’s Ford GT (2005-2006) I think.

Good deal, Tim! I saw the shots you recently posted on the Engine Builders Forum of your #1 aluminum casting. Tim showed the unmachined casting, then SAWED IT UP to check internal integrity! Certainly looks robust enough to handle rather high horsepower, with thick walls everywhere. I'd love to publish a detailed article in the POCA Newsletter, with photos, at your convenience. Tim's block is an upgrade from the 3-4 examples cast by previous project owner Tod Butterworth and machined by Barry Robotnik just as Tod ran out of money and motivation to continue.
