[DeTomaso] CBS show "Scorpions" has Pantera in scene

As somebody who does this often, I can tell you that I take exception care
of the cars, usually assigning a PA to stay with them and if the budget
allows, a detailer to keep them camera ready at all times.
All car owners are given an insurance certificate with a min of $5,000,000
coverage ( our standard ).
Damages under a few thousand are paid out of petty cash, anything bigger is
an insurance claim.
In 25 years, I have had to pay only once, dumbass director eanted to drive
the top model Lexus between locations, then flew out with the keys in his
pocket.
I had to pay $450 for new keys.

Lexus, Police Car and the GTO.
Notable video because the singer is dead, shot dead a year later dealing
drugs in the street.
My last Urban video, It ended badly and almost came to blows, I had to get
the cops involved to get paid ( as the Producer, rule #1, cover your crew
and yourself ) They wanted to mail checks, that doesn't fly in music
videos, esp urban. So I kept the film cans until it was time to get paid,
they refused to pay, said they would take the film. Rule #2, duh, security
works for me, So I had the Policeman explain where his loyalties were.
Rule #3, explain that stopping payment on a $250,000 check is a felony in
Georgia.
Some projects are not worth the headache.
But I always watch out for my people, vendors, cast, crew and especially my
picture car owners.
