I addressed the issue of posting privileges shortly after the website went active.

Once you have logged in to this new website and managed to find the new multi-topic Forum, you can view any and all posted messages. BUT, you will not be able to post any messages except to this topic, the one you are using to view this message - GENERAL DISCUSSION.

Without action on your part, the box - "START NEW THREAD" , located in the upper left corner of the topic page, does not display in any of the other topics. 

What to do? How am I supposed to start a thread? Glad you asked.

Move your cursor to your user name in the upper right corner. Under the drop down menu, click - 'Profile'

On the new page that opens are numerous settings you can define. 

On that page is a section headed - Forums. It is there you can establish posting privileges to all the various topics.

Click - "Forum Memberships"

You will see all the 40 or so Forum topics. To the right of each topic is a green icon. Upon clicking that icon, you will enable your ability to post to that topic. As Asa Jay mentioned in an earlier thread, you must enable EVERY topic to be able to post in EVERY topic. That's right, about 40 clicks later you will have a forum that you can post to. Sigh......
