[DeTomaso] Hooking an MSD 6AL Rev Limiter to disengage the A/C Compressor

Hey Rob

A 6AL only limits the coil drive output.

A 6AL-2 or a 6AL plus has a Retard Step output
"Retard Step. This retard is activated when 12 volts are applied and rpm
is above the Step1 Rpm value."

It's meant to keep those 14:1 motors from blowing the teeth off the
ring-gear,
but just program it to go true at 4000 and do your thing with a relay.

off the compressor so I won't kill another one.
I have heard of such a mod but have not seen technically how to make it
work.A Anybody know what MSD parts are needed and how to hook it up to
   the A/C?
