Bill,
That would have been a solution.
The race car has a custom fuel tank that CAN be removed via the left rear wheel well.
You just have to remove the suspension. Much easier than the ‘remove engine and transmission’ route.
We/Dylan were on a budget. Result?
Fuel cell too expensive….
Cutting firewall… cheap. Just Dad’s labor involved.
Effectively free….
Good suggestion, though!
