Well for once another's sense of humor went over your head.
Spending too much time on the slopes.

What's so special with this email that we need to keep it and I didn't get a link to any pictures from Tom Tjaarda?

Dear Charlie,
I strongly advise that we keep this email and the link to those
pictures from Tom Tjaarda. The horror could be too much for him.
Seriously, Chuck Engles

(Note - this is a re-send as the file size of the attached files was too
large - but the wiki link still works to see at least one example)
A Marcos came along on the Le Mans Classic tour a few years ago, and was a
very attractive a complete car. The owner had poured buckets of money into
the car to make it exceptionally fast - I' m not sure how fast they were as
stock, but in modified form it sure was pretty quick.
Marcos also has (in my opinion) the fame for producing THE ugliest thing
every designed on 4 wheels. The photos in the Wikipedia page make it look
attractive, compared to the appearance in person:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcos_Mantis
If you are bored and have a strong stomach, you google Marcos Mantis and
more photos will show up. The original from the late 60's is what I am
talking about
Two examples of some rather failed Marcos are attached, if the file size is
sufficiently small to let them both get through...
