POCA has, what, 800 or 1,000 members?

How many of them even have enough interest in the topic of a registry to participate in this discussion in the last 24 hours?

7 ? a dozen ? certainly less than 24.

How many readers already are tired of the topic? (grin)

(I think I hear the sounds of crickets, and of 'one' hand clapping - grin.)

Example: How many people voted in the recent, highly-contested POCA election?

(A much more important example of apathy)

Or from a different angle.

How many POCA people currently do >not< use www.DeTomasoRegistry.org <http://www.detomasoregistry.org/>

AND WOULD USE IT ONLY

if POCA was actively involved with management of this resource in some way?

Um, one or two more people?

How many people would actually withdraw from the registry if POCA was involved?

(I actually asked this about 8-10 years ago, and I think there were about 18-20 people.)

Moving on to the next little detail:

Michael stated the registry would be for the exclusive use of POCA's (800-1000) members.

How many members does www.DeTomasoRegistry.org <http://www.detomasoregistry.org/> currently have ?

There are around 5,000 active members.

Just using active members, it seems POCA would substantially REDUCE the number of registry users!

Remind me again, how does that improve the registry?

Perhaps we should wait for the POCA board to address some of these points.

Does anyone on the POCA board besides Mr. Shortt, care to comment on anything mentioned?

Chuck
